PRESIDENT’S RECEPTION for freshmen and their families. In case of rain, the reception will be held in the Beinecke Rare Book Library, corner of Wall and High Streets
All freshmen are required to attend and be in their seats on the main floor of Woolsey by 8.45 a.m. for the 9 a.m. assembly. Proper attire should be worn. Family members and guests of students are invited to attend and take seats in the rear section of Woolsey, the parquet terraces, and the first balcony. Doors to Woolsey will open at 7.30 a.m.
Dear freshmen (or shall I say pre-sophs?):
With your classes drawing to a close, reading week and finals period coming up, and a whole summer and sophomore year beginning sooner than you think, I invite you to join me in the common room this Friday, April 27, at 8:00 p.m. for an advising meeting that will give us a chance to look back at your first year at Yale.
Please join the Saybrook and Branford Communication and Consent Educators with Saybrook's own Allie Bauer ('12) in a discussion about relationships at Yale, from hookups to dating. We will be eating pizza and talking about some of the results Allie found in her sexual satisfaction survey of the Yale undergraduate student body, and we would love to hear people's thoughts and reactions. Thursday, March 1st from 5:30-7:00 pm in the Saybrook-Branford room. Pizza will be served.
Join Saybrook grad affiliate, Peter Gayed, MD, PhD, and seven of his Yale Med colleagues tonight (Tuesday, Jan 31st) at 8 pm in the Saybrook-Branford room to discuss alternative paths to medical school and options once you get there.
Look for upcoming grad affiliate career panels over lunch in the Fellows’ dining room on Fridays: February 10th, Yale School of Management; and February 17th graduate study; “Is a PhD right for you?”
Sophomores, juniors and seniors must register in person by coming to the dean's office, any time on Monday, January 9, 2012, during regular office hours: 8:30-12:30 and 1:30-5:00.
