Kyle Skinner graduated from Yale in 2011 with a B.A. in Italian Language and Literature. His senior essay, an analysis of biblical allusions in the final tale of Boccaccio’s Decameron, reflects on the use of biblical exegesis in fiction and the tension between theology and literary creation in the medieval period.
