Paul Linden-Retek

Paul is currently a first-year PhD student in the Political Science department, focusing on contemporary political philosophy and democratic theory.  He received his JD in 2012 from Yale Law School, where he served as student director of the Allard K. Lowenstein International Human Rights Clinic.  Prior to Yale, Paul completed his AB summa cum laude in Social Studies at Harvard College and worked at the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic.  In Saybrook, Paul assists in coordinating Master's Teas and advises students who apply for various national and international fellowships.

 

 

 

 

Kyle Skinner

Kyle Skinner

 

Kyle Skinner graduated from Yale in 2011 with a B.A. in Italian Language and Literature.  His senior essay, an analysis of biblical allusions in the final tale of Boccaccio’s Decameron, reflects on the use of biblical exegesis in fiction and the tension between theology and literary creation in the medieval period. He is now a first-year PhD student in the Italian department, focusing his research on medieval literature.  As a Resident Graduate Affiliate in Saybrook, Kyle assists in coordinating Master’s Teas.
