Yale undergraduates have access to a robust system of support and advice, in the form of tutors sponsored by residential colleges, academic departments, or the Yale College Dean’s Office, as well as a variety of subject-focused centers and programs.
Whitney Rakich is the residential writing tutor for Saybrook College. She holds a PhD in American Studies (University of New Mexico, 2012), an MA in Spanish (University of New Mexico, 2008), and a BA in Iberian Literature and Fiction Writing (Northwestern University, 2004). She is a writer of short and long fiction. Her office is located in Saybrook P-11, and she can be reached at
