The CCEs are paid employees of the Yale College Dean’s Office, working 5-10 hours per week, with longer hours during training periods in August and January.

Join the Chaplain’s Office for Spring Break New Haven–a yearly spring break immersion program hosted by the Chaplain’s Office. New Haven is a beautifully diverse and fun city. In many ways New Haven’s history mirrors U.S History—its best and its most troubling. Join us as we explore the city, get to know different neighborhoods, meet local leaders and community advocates, eat meals from local restaurants, volunteer and engage with our city’s history. Throughout the week we’ll consider what it is to be a neighbor and community member—exploring how religious communities, restaurants, maker & artisan spaces, libraries, community centers, non-profits and more shape the places we call home. Join us for the good food, new friends and the chance to get to know New Haven in a whole new way.
