Physician

As a clinician and academic educator/ researcher, I’m now working at the border separating the not-for-profit and for-profit worlds of child wellbeing, conducting research on reducing abuse and neglect in at-risk populations using innovative methods while also serving on the Sesame Workshop Bd of Directors, and in private practice. I write for both the scientific and lay communities and do regular media/journalistic work. I’m an involved father of four and my wife is an endowed-tenured professor at Smith and hence intimately familiar with work-family challenges.
