  • Dean’s Report

    • Rising juniors and seniors should have gotten their housing intent in today…. Otherwise Cissy and Dean Lafargue will be tracking you down before spring break. Housing intent isn’t definite.

    • There’ll be an info session tomorrow night at 8 pm in the common room about housing.

    • The deadline for credit/d is Friday. If you have to drop a course after Friday a W will appear on your transcript, which just means that you dropped after midterm.

  • SAC

    • Still in the process of planning SY semi-formal, so look out for that!

    • Planning to start a Saybracket for March Madness for Saybrook. Might use some of the SAC budget to get prizes for the top 3 people

    • POI: Florian Atelier, Te Amo Tequila, or Blake hotel would make great venues.

      • The latter is expensive

        • BUT SAC has lots of money

    • Thinking weekend of April 5th as the date

    • Relatively dormant right now since there are full kegs. Just need more events to serve at!

    • Everyone knows the name harkness around these woods, but while it was the Harkness family that donated memorial quadrangle, when it was renovated to be Saybrook dorms, it was not Mrs. Harkness, rather her relative who paid for the renovation! The family double donated!

    • Want a Cissy historical tea on the history of Black SY if anyone wants to help. With beer.

    • POI: Is there SY history in the Sterling archives?

      • Mike Watskine is the SY fellow who runs the manuscripts and archives of SY at Yale and would be a great resource. He looks out for us.

    • POI: Chung Challenge for Change is no longer giving out Tyng Cup points!

    • POI: Propose a motion to form a temporary committee for Junior Prom
