    • Harvard/Yale is this weekend, and there’ll be a SY tailgate at the Bowl, so look forward to that! Roger and Alex are doing a lot of the heavy lifting so big thanks to them.

    • POI: When/where do you get tickets for  Harvard/Yale?

      • Ray Tompkins House Box Office Nov 18-22 between 10am-2pm

    • POI: Will they run out of tickets?

      • No because it’s here and our field is so big

    • POI: In addition to student tickets, you can pick up guest ones. Everyone gets 2 guest tickets in the student section for $15. Cash and credit are accepted.

    • POI: Is there a SY Section at the game?

      • Materializes during the third quarter for the Strip at the end. Look out for the SY flag that Roger and/or Alex will have, then move to the front.

  • Community Service

    • Donate clothes and take the community service job to give back to SY and your community simultaneously! :)

  • By-Laws

    • Did you know?: In any given semester, the budget given to the FroCos may not exceed the money given to the SAC

    • POI: Is that true?

      • Well it’ in the SY Constitution. The question is whether we follow that rule.

  • Media

    • POI: How many likes did it get because instagram doesn’t let you see anymore

      • Will get stats. Running the analytics.

    • SY and many other dining halls will close on Sunday, but Stiles and Morse will remain open for brunch and dinner Sun the 24th-Wed the 27th. All dining halls will close the 28th-30th and reopen on Sunday.

    • Luckily, Micah sent out an email about free, SY provided food options if you are around over break

      • A Carribean themed dinner with Dean Lafargue + family, pizza lunch with Ann Marie + SY Resident fellows + baby Éomer, an Oil and Butter cooking class with SY Grad Affiliates, a dinner out with moi  (Donasia), and Thanksgiving desserts with SY Fellow Larry Bowman

      • Refer to the email with specific dates/times to sign up on the online form which will close Friday, November 22nd at noon!

    • Will be a Yale dining station at the Bowl at the Game

      • POI: Is it only for students on Yale dining plan?

        • It probably technically is, but if you have a Yale ID they might let you in

    • POI: Can we have big Caesar salad at the salad station like they do in Berkeley?

      • POI: What’s the difference?

        • Premade is better. We could do it ourselves, but no way to toss it well

      • POI: There’s an arugula Caesar salad typically, so could just make a switch

    • POI: If you’re looking for longer term changes to the dining hall, feel free to send Prof Near an email with the subject “Improvement in Yale Dining” since he wants student feedback as he’s in conversation about the renovations

    • POI: Cups were moved back. Thank you Joey

  • Treasurer’s Report

    • $0.00 in rolling fund

    • If you haven’t used your funds and don’t think you’re going to before the end of the semester, let Mariel know. Then we can reallocate that budget and pull from it since it won’t roll over to next semester.

  • New Business

    • POI: New merch in the SY College office! Jogger style sweatpants. Old fashioned quarter zip pullovers. Strip shirts. Get them!!

    • POI: Sam talked to Prof Near about the art in the SY dining hall today. Some of the portraits are SY related, but others are just portraits of random old white people from the YUAG, which we can exchange at any time. Let’s take the initiative and diversify the walls of SY. Doable with proper communication.

      • POI: Can we get the lions from the Yale Center for British Art or the YUAG?

      • POI: There was loosely a committee to do something like this last year, so the structure for this might already be in place.

        • POI: It was the SY Beautification Committee, which used to be a couple of SY people and Micah. They got the environmental posters downstairs.

        • POI: Sam was on that committee. Concluded on a new portrait of Edward Bouchet that will be great.

      • POI: Does Sam want to reach out to people?

        • POI: Is anyone loosely committed? Amanda’s on. Ben’s on. Mariel’s on. Sam’s prepared to spearhead.

        • POI: Can they have a backroom tour of YUAG?

          • One can

        • POI: Will formally make this a committee next semester. Put the pieces together so we can hit the ground running.

    • POI: On food at the meetings. Last week we had Popeyes on the first Meatless Monday. Should have more vegetarian options.

      • POI: Had gluten free Popeyes fries and naan the week before, so we’re trying

      • POI: Should it just all be vegetarian? Do we need meat anyway?

        • Some people do enjoy the meat options.

      • POI: If you have an idea for where Roger should get food / what type, let him know!

    • POI: Is there a layaway plan for getting the sweatpants? They’re $25, but only has 18 IM tokens

      • Talk to the Aides or someone in the college office

  • Motion to adjourn?

    • Seconded
